FAHEM & LRN Meetup
The Formative Academy for Higher Education and Management – FAHEM and Learning Resource Network (LRN) UK arranged a meetup at Karachi Golf Club on Aug 25th, 2024. Dr. Muhammad Zohaib Tariq, CEO of the Learning Resource Network (LRN), Ms. Sumra Peerun, LRN Manager, Ms. Musarat Tahir, Quality Assurance Officer, FAHEM, Dr. Sarwat Nauman, Head of the Advisory Board, FAHEM, Dr. Zehra Habib, Member of the Advisory Board, FAHEM and Mr. Mushtaq Ahmad, a Member of the Advisory Board discussed the issues of teacher education prevalent in Pakistan and how investment in quality teacher education can help teachers avail skills needed for the teaching and learning process. Ms. Mona Jindani provided her input on teacher training in ECE and Mr. Ammar Nauman shared financial insights of teacher training programs.
According to Mr. Zohaib Tariq, CEO LRN, “All stakeholders must take teachers training seriously and work towards teachers’ professional development for making the teaching and learning experience wholesome for the students and teachers, both.”
On this occasion, Dr. Muhammad Zohaib Tariq presented the LRN Approved Center Shield to FAHEM which was received by Ms. Musarat Tahir

Shaping Minds: Unpacking Behaviorism and Constructivism
A workshop titled “Shaping Minds: Unpacking Behaviorism and Constructivism” was conducted by the students of FAHEM, Merium Mansoor, Kanza Bakhsh and Aisha Bilal on Aug 25th, 2024. The objective of this workshop was to help teachers understand the theories of constructivism and behaviourism and also to discuss strategies to implement these theories in classroom setting.
